The Super 10 wiregate is based on the same ‘back’ as the standard Super 10 but has a wire gate to give a neat alternative. Clog wiregates are distinguished by their disctinctive anodising and like their solid gate counterparts offer an bent and straight gate alternative for the clip or rope ends. There are seen to be advantages of the wiregate over the standard ‘solid’ gate karabiner of being slightly lighter and less prone to freezing up in winter.
