Climber magazine - Competition Prizewinner Pics

Here's one we missed earlier, some great pictures of our Red Chili / Climber Magazine competition prizewinner Alexa crawford having a great time being coached by Red Chili climber Katherine Schirrmacher (www.lovetoclimb.co.uk ) at The Climbing Works.

This superb first prize saw our winner, receive not only the latest Red Chili shoes, Spirit Lady VCR's, but a Red Chili bouldering pad as well as a half days bouldering coaching from Katherine.

Unfortunately the great British weather played havoc with doing it all outside but our team made the best of it, kept dry, kept smilin and kept crankin...

Katherine commented
'In typical British style the heavens opened and Alexa and I had to abandon our meeting point of Stanage Plantation and dash to the Climbing Works, in Sheffield. Coming all the way from Southampton, this was somewhat of a disappointment but the car overflowed with prizes of shoes, t-shirt, bouldering mat and chalkbag and we got to business. Alexa was relatively new to climbing and she seemed to really enjoy covering the basics of bouldering; like reading problems and working out sequences.
Luckily next day the weather was glorious and Alexa and Steve got out in the Peak to try the new kit out on the real thing.'
